Why do I need a handicap and clubs to register on my-pro?

my-pro is designed to help competing golfers improve their performance.

A handicap is a numerical measure of a golfer’s ability, or potential ability. Therefore, it is a convenient system to use for setting objectives and evaluating the success of your development as you move forward.

If you are a member of a golf club you may acquire a handicap from your club. If you are not a member of a golf club, you can get a golf handicap from the governing body for amateur golf in your country.

You only need to enter your handicap during registration. You do not need to submit official documentation.

Adding clubs to your profile activates analysis functions within my-pro that help you and your pro determine and improve the level of your performance.
